Safety

Our guides welcome visitors in the centre of the climbing park, a wooden house. They hand out the equipment – belts, helmets and carabiners, check their good fit and explain the safety function and, above all, the usage rules.

The security technique is very easy to learn. After this detailed safety briefing by our safety trainers, you are optimally equipped for your adventure under the treetops. After that, all visitors move independently in the high ropes course, unless you book a tour with the guide.

A safety rope will accompany you throughout the complete route. Her strap is latched there with safety lines. Once you've mastered a station, first hang one carabiner hook in the next station, then the second.

NO HELMET REQUIREMENT

We have also lifted the helmet requirement in our high ropes course, thus aligning ourselves with the reasoning behind high ropes courses that do not require helmets. As part of our annual risk assessment, we also found that climbing safety in our facility is fully guaranteed even without helmets. We made this decision in consultation with an external expert.

FYI: Climbing in a high ropes course is essentially comparable to using a playground, but the risk of injury is minimized due to the design. Our trees are well-maintained and free of dangerous deadwood, unlike in a normal forest or many parks.

Danger with helmets : In high ropes courses and on playgrounds there is a danger of getting stuck with helmets.

CLIMBING EQUIPMENT OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY

We offer all climbers the new, innovative "Smart Belay" belay system from Edelrid. The heart of the SMART BELAY is its intercommunicating roller carabiners. If one carabiner is opened, the opening mechanism of the other is automatically blocked. This largely prevents errors when clipping the carabiners. The additional pilot bar serves as a special handhold while climbing, especially when riding on cable cars. The SMART BELAY allows customers to climb independently, and thanks to its outstanding geometry and intuitive handling, it is easy to operate even for children.
